Bliss...

Cuddling under layers and layers of warm blankets

Him fixing things around their nest,
her lighting scented candles,
him playing with her hair,
her massaging his back,
him caressing her shoulders,
her singing for joy,
him outlining
the contours of her face with a finger,
her pestering him 
with offers of food and juice,
him kissing her forehead,
her nestling her head on his shoulder,
them holding hands in bed,
them watching TV lying under the covers
him commenting on random stuff on the news
her asking random questions
him pretending to have fallen asleep
her snuggling up close to his body,
him asking her to always touch him with her feet
when cuddling,
her relishing smelling him again and again
