Stability

She loves that thing about him.
His stability.

Stability.
Too boring 
or too predictable 
for other women
but for her,
heaven on earth.

His always being true to his word
his taking her storms peacefully and calmly
being there,
calm,
unmovable by mood swings
or circumstances.

God how she loves this.
Something to lean on,
no empty promises,
when he says he'll do something,`
he always does.

This  stability of his
has such a calming, soothing effect
on her battered soul.
She needs this so badly
and he gives it to her in abundance.

Taken for granted for other women
`it might be, 
but never for her.
