Moments

A Summer storm raging outside
and her tasting him
slowly
adoringly
relishing him
for hours.

She's swooning in his arms
from the intensity and sweetness
of his energy pouring into her.

The Moon peeking from up there
while the sunset colours are still visible.

She's napping  right across him
and he turns down the TV 
to let her sleep peacefully.

Tea lights flickering 
over a glass or two of wine.

Ice cream eating 
and her holding his foot
while sunbathing.


Salty kisses, sunburnt noses and shoulders
and massages and soothing creams
and her friends captivated by his presence.

Watching the world go by 
all around them
while drinking in 
each other's nearness.

Her happiness, his contentment.
His caring, her adoration.

brought for them....
