Τhey are in his cars.

He is ready to leave.

Suddenly he hunkers down and tells her:

''If you were free to come, 

I swear I'd take you with me

right in this car

,we'd drive away

and I'd never ever let you go''...

He meant it back then, she could tell.
Even though he couldn't 
and she couldn't take him up on his word 
and they both knew it

That night when she did go home 

her insides hummed a happy song

of those words,

spoken from his heart...
